why? just too many games to handle it or no interest?
I think it would take a lifetime to obtain every single PlayStation game complete and used. Impossible to collect sealed I would think. And that would just be PAL or American sets.
@ Adol: I know what you mean in regards to chasing those last few to complete a set. I am currently only four or five sealed N-Gage titles away from a full set, and need just one more Pokemon game to complete my sub-collection. As for my PAL Dreamcast set... They've really dried up recently. When I first started collecting Dreamcast games, they were quite plentiful, and reasonably priced, yet I didn't really have much spare cash. Now the tables have turned, and I have the cash but they are few and far between. Add to that the fact that I am very picky over what regional variations I have, and condition too...

I always knew Adol is a horrible abomination of mankind.

Kotaku really do like showing off pics of your collection, Adol!
http://kotaku.com/358987/buy-every-single-japanese-dreamcast-game-at-once
That's at least the second time your collection has been featured on there since SGH has been going (The first being when Kotaku first reported on this site)
It's also been reported on all over the web, like HERE for example
I also notice that the auction is offering $10 back with a new eBay MasterCard! Lol. I can't imagine anyone being $10 short of $19,999.99!
Re: Dreamcast JPN complete Sealed Collection
No interest, this is not my childhood.
My childhood is 8&16 bits, and partly 32 bits.
So yes,PS1 would insterest me a little, but there are way too many games i'm not interested in (thousands, literally) to begin a fullset.
I did Saturn&Dreamcast by respest to Sega, and because i wanted to have all Sega-console based games ever released in Japan.
I'm into Sega,Nintendo,SNK and Nec/Hudson,mainly.
MSX&other stuff as well, but basically few things over 1998 interest me.

I appreciate the fact that those guys say it is a "bargain" or "fair price" and not a "stupid insane price" like some other people would say.
Ppl thinking too that " why buying them and not opening them" didn't realize that when you can buy all this, you can buy the few games you want to play as used copies, but well.
On a other $0.2 listing day,i'll post my complete SFC fullset (still need 1 game to go) and PCE fullset (with all hrdwares), just for teasing

Re: Dreamcast JPN complete Sealed Collection
It is indeed an awesome collection :-)
It also contrasts well with the number of games released outside of Japan (around 200 each for PAL/US; the Japanese region more than triples either of them), and highlights the proportion of limited/special editions compared with overseas libraries (practically none outside of Japan; even console bundles were incredibly rare - moreso than any other major console, probably).
I, on the other hand, always dream about *having* lots of money, and using it to buy collections like this. :-) Or alternatively, a little bit at at a time, like I do now.
Also, Adol (or anyone else who knows):
Can you tell me, in the case of the Shenmue Limited Edition for the Japanese Dreamcast: Are the cases under the slip cover surrounded by a spine card (it would be visible from the side)?
It was the case with the Shenmue 2 Limited Edition (not to mention, the non-special editions of Shenmue & Shenmue 2, and the practice of Japanese Dreamcast titles in general). But I can't see from your pictures if this is the case (looks like that might be it a few titles in from the left on the second line of the first picture, in which case I guess the answer is "No spine!").
I've bought a couple over the years, searching for evidence either way. I bought my original copy at release, but not from one of my usual, trusted sellers. I've been paranoid ever since Shenmue 2 came out, because I bought it and it *did* have a spine. I was pretty much ready to agree that it would have been without a card, due to the fact that used copies never have one either, no matter how complete a seller's wares usually are.
Please excuse the off-topic nature of (most of) this post. I asked this question over in Confirmation & Evidence a while back, but no-one who saw it at the time knew the answer.
