collection with picture(s) SHs - Resident Evil Collection

Post by Sammelhammel on Tue Dec 11, 2007 2:36 pm

so guys...here is one of my "sub-collections"...all sealed.

RESIDENT EVIL

N64:
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil 2

PS:
- Resident Evil
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil 2 limited Edition (geman only)
- Resident Evil 3

PS2:
Resident Evil 4 (steelbook)
Resident Evil Code Veronica X
Resident Evil Outbreak File 1
Resident Evil Outbreak File 2

I just collect the Resis for the systems where I collect all the other games...so there will be no GC/Wii/GBC/Tiger.com-Resi in my collection.
If I count it right, the following games are missing:

- Resident Evil DC (PS)
- Resident Evil Survivor (PS)
- Resident Evil Gun Survivor (PS2)
- Resident Evil Dead Aim (PS2)
Hardy.....great name, great guy Very Happy

Plus the standard version of Resident Evil 4 Wink

Do you also collect the American PlayStation versions as well? Or just the PAL versions? The American's got another version of Resident Evil II which included support for the Dual Shock controller, which the original release did not

There's also the various rereleases of the PAL games (Platinum versions, and the third rerelease of Resident Evil for the "Value Series" range)

Am I right in thinking that Gun Survivor II is in fact just FPS Code Veronica? The original Survivor game is very underrated in my opinion!

Hmm....ok, if I will get a "cheap" Resi 4 standard or cheap US-versions, I will also buy them. But Platinum/PlayersChoice is nothing for me. Otherwise I would also buy a Resi 1 or Resi 2 Platinum.... yes!

I cant answer your question concerning Gun Survivor II/Code Veronica....never played Gun Survivor Sad
Hardy.....great name, great guy Very Happy

Bump from the grave, that piccie is great!

I'm trying to get a sealed RE collection going myself. Pal PS1 titles seem really htf now. Only managed RE3 and RE2 (plat) so far.

Few qusetions..

The PS RE2 LE is just box, badge, game, and t-shirt? Nothing buried underneath out of sight?
And I take it that the German RE2 has that artwork as standard, not the UK artwork?
And what sort of seal do the N64 RE2s have?

Cheers!

Hihi, thanks mate Smile
Oh, a RE2 (Plat) would also fit perfect in my collection..... yes!

I'm going to get a sealed Resi Survivor soon.

to your questions:

- The RE2 box contains the game, the shirt, this little pin.....and I do not know, there was a Flyer inside the box as well. I can make a pic of it when I'm at home (in 2-3 weeks). But I don't know for sure if this one was in there before.
- And yes, the artwork is the German one...the box was only released in Germany. I know it for sure. The artwork is not so scary as the UK one Very Happy
- The seal of the Resi 2 (N64) is a normal one like the last N64 US games had (without a vertical seam).
Hardy.....great name, great guy Very Happy

Hehe. I hope the seller wraps it well for me!

Very nice! If there's another copy you can lay your hands feel free to think of me!

Cheers for the answers too.

I can't see the piccie at the mo (at work) but I thought the N64 RE2s were Pal? But they come in just a standard shrinkwrap type seal. Odd. Are there many Pal N64 games like this. I see some Euro sellers on Ebay with loads of Nintendo goodies (N64, GBA, SNES, NES etc) all with just this plain shrinwrap and I always thought they were reseals/shop seals. You live and learn!
