Game of the Year 2008

What is your game of the year 2008 ?
I would maybe say its Metal Gear Solid 4 !

MGS4 is definitely up there. I would also throw in Dead Space. It's a rare that a survival horror not named Resident Evil or Silent Hill (though in recent times, even Silent Hill doesn't measure up) measures up. This game was very well done.

hmm.. i guess Fallout 3. kept me playing constantly for a week.

Any one of the "big 3" Mario games for the Wii.

For me, it would be Super Smash Bros. X (Brawl), hands down.

It's probably the only game of this year that I played since it came out (since it came out in Japan, no less) and that I'm still playing on an at least weekly basis six months later. In fact, I can't remember the last non-Pokémon game where I've done that (maybe GoldenEye?). Certainly not this generation, anyway.
