I hate to be "that guy," but can you please explain how your service differs from the one offered by the AFA/VGA? In other words, why would a person choose yours over theirs?

I saw that someone posted a comment/question like this before, and I was really looking forward to your response, but I guess it got deleted...

Anyway, I do not think it will go away that easily. I am sure there are others here wondering the same thing.

First of all...one really BIG point is: We are here in Europe. They are sitting in the USA. I or we think that a big lot of people don't want to send their games over the big ocean to get it graded.
It's also a way too expensive.
I think we can't expect that anybody from NA will send their games to us (ok, we hope so)....we expect more people from Europe.

I looked at the site of AFA/VGA...and in my opinion they are specialised in figures and comics. Ok...they now also have the game-section, but don't know if they have the human resources who can grade the games. Maybe they have them...I don't know.
But to make it clear: we do not copy AFA/VGA. This "idea" of grading games was starting with the "founding" of this website www.sealedgameheaven.com....so about 1 year ago.
Do not know if AFA/VGA had a games section at this time.
Hardy.....great name, great guy Very Happy

additional reasons:
I think we have the big advantage that we have a big sealed community and very much knowledge about what we are grading! All graders are sealed collectors for at least 3 years ...
You not only get a graded game. Your sealed game form part of the biggest sealed community ! You have many potential buyers and interested users. We have a unique public database with more features than vga (I wouldn't sign this fact but I believe its true!). So I definitely think we are the best choice if you want to make a good investment for the future! Furthermore your game is well protected and you have some more advantages (read our grading information).

I am sorry for jumping to conclusions about someone deleting. I am not usually so hasty in making such accusations, but I could have sworn that I saw something like this earlier.

Oh well, maybe the person deleted their own comment. Or maybe my mind is playing tricks on me...

Anyway, it does not really matter. Thank you for answering my question. I am still not sure which service is best for me, but you have added some credence to your case.

When I was fighting with some of the people over at GameTZ about this, none of them could get it into their heads that this service will benefit MOSTLY people in Europe, etc. Not North America as most people here will opt for the local grading by VGA. They assumed just because you were overseas, that this was a stupid idea. I hope to see "Sealed Game Heaven" graded games on eBay or similar places selling for crazy money, just so I can tell them "I told you so" :-)

I honestly think that's all VGA truely has over you, is that to people in America, they're local. I can tell you right now if I had a sealed game I was looking to have graded, I'd send it over to SGH. You actually may see my Factory Sealed signed Dragon Force for Saturn sometime in the future.

My question is not which is better service but which will be more accepted on EBAY when we try to sell the sealed stuff we don't want thats already graded. I think VGA has behind them that they have been doing grading on other things for years so this shows me they are there to stay. I don't mind sending my systems or games over seas so thats not a factor. One other thing that stands out to me is the cases used, SGH offers what looks like the cases you would get at best buy and VGA offers sealed plastic cases with the option to get a uv grade plastic. I will try both to draw my conclusion!
