I've never really been a fan of handheld games a rule. After all, most of the time they're just lesser versions of their console brethren. Some do appeal to me though, especially if they are made specifically for the handheld and exclusive to just that platform, or if they form part of a sub-collection.

I am still waiting for Sony to release some kind of Limited Edition PSP here in the UK. Japan and the US have a few, but I would rather have a UK spec machine (Eg, Spider-Man or Simpsons) ...

Yes, its true. Im talking about prototypes, unreleased games and development kits. Now what i tell may sound weird but there is a very big underground market for these types of things. Mostly Japan, to get inside these collecting societies is very hard and dangerous (yes, dangerous).

Well. Anyone knows brinn1 here? It is a famous snes sealed collector and seller on ebay.

Currently he's selling sega genesis games i'm interested in. But he refused to ship and sell then to me.

My credit card is currently in reissue process. Combining it with the fact that we have May holidays here (1-2-3 may) i won't be able to pay to him within 48 hours that he wants. What do you guys think of the new banjo kazooie game coming out for the 360?

I was pretty happy to hear about a new banjo game coming out but after seeing the gameplay and trailers for it im afraid to say that it doesnt look good for anyone like me who was expecting a return to the old banjo games

The producers said in the interview that theyre trying to appeal to new gamers and say how 'everyone likes to build things' so it looks like most of the gameplay revolves purely around ...

I'm starting to see a new practice when selling collectible games and I do not like it!

More and more, people sell games as "New Sealed CONDITION", which just means the same as complete and mint, just that there is an opened shrink wrap on the box. For example:

Non-US collector's collecting NTSC U games

I have noticed that many of us seem to be non-US citizens, but collect NTSC U games. In particular, I have noticed the systems of choice tend to be SNES and PlayStation / PS2 games. I know there are some of us who also collect Japanese games, but I am more intrigued about the American collecting habits rather than the Japanese collector's.

What is the appeal of NTSC U games to us non-US collector's? I share a passion for collecting certain US games, but this is mainly due to two factors:

Though the Saturn is my favorite console of all time, it's hard to find perfect and quite frankly, legit copies of true gems (discovering my Radiant Silvergun was a clever reseal a year or so back was rough). Credit Crunch and Sealed Games

Anyone else notice that the credit crunch and general world economy (petrol/gas prices etc) is having an effect on sealed game prices. I've noticed a few PCE games for example going for a lot less than they would normally do.

This is good news for people who have been saving their money - now is the time to buy games at below market prices!
